QUALITY TEST

At Seiban, we undertake quality testing for durability, safety and comfort so that children can easily carry their randsel backpack everyday for 6 years.
Only randsel backpacks that clear our own strict quality standards are delivered to our customers.

Safety Swivel Detachment
Strength Test

For this test the randsel backpack is fixed horizontally and a swivel is pulled in a 45° diagonal direction, in order to measure the maximum load it can bear until the swivel detaches.

Test results

It demonstrates that the safety swivel automatically detaches with a load of 120 N (approximately 12 kg). *The observation results are not necessarily guaranteed to be identical even if undertaken with the same conditions and measurements.

Restricting Heavy Metals that are
Harmful to the Human Body
(Conforming to ST Standards)

This test examines whether the harmful substances (8 heavy metal elements) contained in the metallic parts of the randsel backpack do not exceed the standard value.

Test results

Confirming that the amount of heavy metals harmful to the human body do not exceed the standard value.

Jungle Test

This is a degradation acceleration test that replicates 6 years worth of deterioration in 6 weeks, in order to assess the damage to the randsel backpack over time.

Test results

Cracks or damage to the randsel backpack cannot be found.

Jungle Test

External Pressurization Test

This is a test that measures the maximum load until deformation can be identified, after applying pressure to the randsel backpack from the front side directed towards the back side.

Test results

It demonstrates that it can withstand a maximum load of approximately 106 kg.
*The observation results are not necessarily guaranteed to be identical even if undertaken with the same conditions and measurements.

External Pressurization Test

Retroreflective Ability Test

This test measures the strength of light reflected back when illuminating the reflective material that is used in the randsel backpacks.

Test results

It clears the required value for reflective brightness for retroreflective materials.

Retroreflective Ability Test

Enforced Degradation/
Durability Test

This test checks durability by forcibly degrading the resin parts (Sekan/back connector), then repeatedly adding a weight of 20 kg to it 10,000 times.

Test results

Cracks or damage to the resin parts (Sekan/back connector) cannot be found.
